Dear Patron,
We have great news to share! Mark your calendars for the grand opening of the fully renovated Campbell Library on
Saturday, May 9. We cannot wait to share this new, beautiful space with you! Details will follow on our
website as we get closer to the opening date.
The Campbell Library, located at 77 Harrison Avenue, is a welcoming, flexible, and sustainable space for everyone to enjoy. Patrons can browse popular collections for all interests, attend programs for all ages, and use our free WiFi and computers. There are meeting rooms, a fully equipped Community Room, a
Storybook SCCLD Play Space, and dedicated spaces for children, teens, and adults.
The Campbell Express Library, located at the Campbell Community Center, will provide service through Saturday, April 4. This gives staff time to relocate library materials to the permanent library location, fill shelves with additional new materials, and get the library ready for the grand opening.
The last day to place holds on library materials for pickup at Campbell Express is Friday, March 20. Holds pickup will resume when the library reopens at its permanent site. Any materials checked out from the Campbell Express Library between now and the April 4 closure will be due on May 9.
The Campbell Express will accept returns through April 4. Returns are accepted at any other
Santa Clara County Library District library. As a friendly reminder, eligible library materials are available for
automatic renewal up to three times. Also, there are no longer
late fines on materials, but items four or more weeks past the due date will incur a lost fee for full replacement costs.
We thank you for your patience and we look forward to welcoming you back to the Campbell Library on May 9!
